MTB Skills Instruction: 5-part Series
$40 each class or $150 when you register for the whole series (save 25%)
Starting September 22nd, join us every Tuesday night from 5:00-6:30 pm for a 5-part series breaking down the fundamental skills of mountain biking. In each 1.5 hr session we will learn and practice a different skill key to maintaining control over your bike on any trail and over any feature.
Class 1: Body Position. Stay balanced, look where you should, and let the bike flow underneath you. Learn to quickly dismount for when things don't go as planned.
Class 2: Cornering. Separation of bike and body is essential to maximizing traction and steering precisely. Climb steep switchbacks, fly down berms, and master loose, flat corners.
Class 3: Braking and Shifting. Make the most of your pedaling with smooth, timely shifting. Feel confident at any speed, down any grade, in spite of any obstacle with a new mastery of braking.
Class 4: Overcoming Obstacles. Skip the root, miss the rock, and lift over the ledge. Learn the tips & tricks to navigate every obstacle the trail throws at you.
Class 5: Drops & Rollovers. Nail the drop, roll the boulder, and tackle steep descents with confidence. Find your trail finesse.
Classes will operate in rainy conditions, but move to durable surfaces and avoid muddy trails. For severe weather we will reschedule that class.
